The Realisatie Parklaan Noord en Zuid project involved the construction of a new connecting road between the N224 and the A12, passing through a nature-rich area within the municipality of Ede. The project, spanning 6.8 kilometers, included both reconstruction and new construction phases, integrating various infrastructure elements such as roads, greenery, and ecological considerations. The project was commissioned by the municipality of Ede and executed by Aannemingsmaatschappij Van Gelder B.V., with a strong focus on sustainability and ecological preservation. The challenge

The solution
To address these challenges, Aannemingsmaatschappij Van Gelder B.V. implemented Alfamail VISI, a robust document management and communication platform. VISI was chosen due to its proven effectiveness in previous projects, particularly with Rijkswaterstaat, and its ability to formalize communication between all parties involved.
The standard VISI framework UAV-GC was implemented with minimal customization, allowing for quick deployment in less than two weeks. The platform facilitated formal communication, ensuring that all agreements, decisions, and project updates were documented and traceable. This was particularly valuable given the project’s extended timeline and the need to maintain clear records over several years.
