Vanaf nu kun je in Alfamail meervoudige authenticatie aanzetten. Naast je wachtwoord vraagt Alfamail bij het inloggen om een code uit een authenticator-app.<\/p>\n

Waarom het er is<\/h3>\n

In de kaders die in deze sector gelden, de BIO en ISO 27001, is meervoudige authenticatie een basismaatregel, geen extra. Bij aanbestedingen en securityvragenlijsten komt de vraag vrijwel altijd langs. Met MFA in Alfamail is dat antwoord kort.<\/p>\n

Hoe het werkt<\/h3>\n

Je registreert Alfamail eenmalig in een authenticator-app: Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, of de app die jouw organisatie voorschrijft. Daarna vul je bij het inloggen de zescijferige code in die de app op dat moment toont. Geen extra hardware, geen aparte licentie, geen sms. Verder verandert er niets aan je dagelijkse werk.<\/p>\n

Inschakelen<\/h3>\n

  1. Ga naar de beveiligingsinstellingen van je account.<\/li>\n
  2. Kies Meervoudige authenticatie inschakelen. Alfamail toont een QR-code.<\/li>\n
  3. Scan de code met je authenticator-app.<\/li>\n
  4. Vul ter bevestiging de zescijferige code in.<\/li>\n
  5. Bewaar de herstelcodes op een veilige plek buiten je telefoon.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Voor beheerders<\/h3>\n

    Bepaal welke authenticator-app jouw organisatie toestaat en leg vast wie MFA reset bij een verloren telefoon; dat is na invoering de meest voorkomende supportvraag. Stem het ook af met ketenpartners in hetzelfde project, want zij loggen ook in. MFA vervangt overigens geen werkafspraken: gedeelde accounts en niet-ingetrokken toegang blijven een aandachtspunt.<\/p>\n
