Whenever a Dutch user asks this, I pass on the wisdom my colleague Jeroen van Geijlswijk once shared with me. &#8220;Sometimes users want to know the difference between framework and software. In that case, you can set the language to English. The framework will be in Dutch, while the software is in English.&#8221; Very convenient, whether you are Dutch or not. Another question that popped up during a training: \u201cIs ISO 29481 also used in languages other than Dutch?\u201d That question \u2013 raised during a <a href=\"https:\/\/alfamail.com\/nl\/services\/visi-gebruikers-training\/\">training<\/a> for a RAW (= Dutch contract format for traditional construction)-project \u2013 caused me to segue into the application of ISO 29481 in projects with the FIDIC contract format. As I wanted to maintain focus, I gave a short reply at the time. Here I want to provide more information about FIDIC and why it exists.
